What is the best kind of brush and paste to use for your dogs teeth?

Get a dog toothbrush, or a really soft human one. Never use human toothpaste, it froths and can be swallowed. Use dog toothpaste, you can even get beef flavoured! Try different brands, or ask your vet for what kind of brand is the best! good luck! :)What is the best kind of brush and paste to use for your dogs teeth?
get this...I once got a dual pack sonicare toothbrush...so I used one and my dog used the other. Mine broke and now I have a regular toothbrush while my dog uses the sonicare.

I think those work well for large dogs...or any kind of vibrating toothbrush...sometimes it's hard to get to the back teeth otherwise.

I used to use regular human toothpaste until I found out that floride is not good for dogs. What is the best kind of brush and paste to use for your dogs teeth?
I use soft childrens toothbrushes on my Shih Tzu's and replace them every 2 months. Cheap - at the Dollar Store. They each have their own color. I started buying Mint flacored dog toothpaste at the pet store. Once I tried to switch to beef flavored and they wanted no part of that. Switched back to mint.
Nearly all vets sell toothpaste...check with yours. My dogs use one made by Virbac, and I use a soft child's toothbrush and a finger brush.
Just a thought to pass on.........

Do not use any toothpaste or brush made in China! Diethylene glycol, a poisonous ingredient in some antifreeze has been found in toothpaste imported to the US.

Be careful out there!
Check these links...eliminate the need for dentals, and stuff like you mentioned above!
