If you have Invisalign, do you have to brush your teeth in school?

I might get Invisalign, but I don't want to brush my teeth at school... do you have to do that with Invisalign... and do you also have to do that w/ braces? If you have Invisalign, do you have to brush your teeth in school?
Yes you do - the first answer is incorrect.

I have Invisalign and the orthodontist has told me to ALWAYS clean my teeth before putting the aligners back in. If you don't, food particles will stick to the aligners and will cause them to smell and stain.

If I were you, i'd brush my teeth in a cubicle, [bring a small toothbrush so it's discreet], bring a bottle of water, put the toothpaste on the brush, and pour a little bit of the water on the brush, then brush your teeth, then spit it all out in the tissue then flush. It's discreet and nobody will know.

If you put the aligners back in without brushing your teeth, the food particles that are still on the teeth get pushed into the teeth surface even more because of the pressure of the braces, and therefore you can get cavities and also bad breath. If you have Invisalign, do you have to brush your teeth in school?
No, you don't have to brush your teeth at school. You do, however, have to take it off at school when you are eating. This shouldn't be a problem though, just wrap it in a tissue and make sure you put back on and don't mistaken the tissue for garbage. With invisalign (and braces) you brush like you would regularly (2 times a day, or whenever needed) With regular braces however, you may need different brushes to get through the grooves of the teeth since there is a wire there preventing you from brushing like you usually would. Invisalign, however, is completely removable and allows you to brush as you normally would. It's better than regular braces because it allows you to brush better, and floss as well.

Hope this answered your question!
You don't have to brush at school after lunch per se. it is not an absolute must that you have to brush right away, and waiting a few hours from lunch to home time won't damage your teeth. If you don't want to brush, there is always the option of rinsing at school, and brushing when you get home. If you choose to brush make sure you don't brush immediately after eating acidic foods such as sodas or oranges as immediate brushing will brush the acid right into the enamel of the tooth, cause erosion. Brushing immediately after meals is not a must. The important thing is that you brush and floss and keep your teeth and invisaligns clean. Also try not to use anything too abrasive to clean your invisaligns.
