If you brush ur teeth more often will they get whiter?

just wondering, if you brush ur teeth a lot, will ur teeth get whiter? If you brush ur teeth more often will they get whiter?
No, to make your teeth whiter its not how much you brush, it's what you use. Your only supposed to brush your teeth 2-3 times daily. If you want your teeth whiter, try using baking soda and 3% hydrogen peroxide with your toothpaste. Also I recommend a toothpaste free of fluoride bcz fluoride actually is a toxic poison, it decays your teeth and bones over a long period of time.If you brush ur teeth more often will they get whiter?
Hi,

My Wife had problems of yellow teeth and stains. She is in to modeling and a bright smile is very important for her. We tried lot of products but none of them really worked. Trays gave her irritation and pain...There are many teeth whiteners but none worked for her....Lot of visits to dentists only wasted time and money. A few weeks ago I was lucky to find a something, this was like a miracle. My wife is now very happy as she has white teeth. The best part is the ease of use. I have explained in more details about this at http://www.squidoo.com/teeth-whitening-s鈥?/a> Every person who wants white teeth SHOULD read it.

I am not endorsing any product here. Its something that has worked for me and I wanna help people have white teeth without spending lot of money.
maybe, maybe not. ask your dentist/orthodontist

  • Best MAC brush for mineral powder foundation?

which MAC brush do you think is the best for applying and blending mineral powder foundation. I keep hearing alot of good things about MAC's 109 contour brush.Best MAC brush for mineral powder foundation?
The 109 is a small brush, smaller than a blush brush ... I would go with the 134 Paddle for a light coverage or the 182 Buffer for more coverage. You can also try the 187 Duo Fibre, but I lie the 182 the best ...Best MAC brush for mineral powder foundation?
109- its not my favorite brush.. but it is a good brush to have.. i use it to blend. It works pretty well.

MAC 182. its great for applying and blending mineral powder into the skin. its a great brush for all over color on your face, some people use it for their powder foundation as well..

The 182 is a must have in every mua's brush belt.

PUT IT IN YOUR COLLECTION ..you wont regret it !
contour is good for blush and bronzer, 187 is good for what you want.

We wash our clothes, face, body, dishes and most other things with hot water. so why do we brush out teeth with cold water? We wash our clothes, face, body and dishes with hot water. so why do we brush out teeth with cold water?
I use hot water and I swish the toothpaste alot in my mouth before I spit!We wash our clothes, face, body and dishes with hot water. so why do we brush out teeth with cold water?
    I don't, well warm.
Not everyone washes their clothes with hot water. I'm sure not everyone washes their face with hot water. I've definitely heard of cold showers. And I know people who use warm water to brush their teeth as their teeth are sensitive to temperature extremes.

So the answer to your question is that your question can't be answered properly because it makes erroneous assumptions.

    Thank you for playing.
Actually, dentists recommend you use no water/a DRY toothbrush, and this is the method I use.
I always used hot.. but, was careful not to burn myself.. cause my lips and gums and tongue are more sensitive to heat..
I do just because I don't like warm water in my mouth for some reason, but I suppose you can. We're just doing what our parents taught us I guess.
To help stop the gums bleeding! Or is that just me?
There's no law that says you have to. Your welcome to use hot water if you so desire.
Hot water makes the bristles limp.
I brush my teeth using warm water. My teeth are too sensitive for cold!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can you brush your teeth before a blood test for pregnancy - HELP PLEASE?

I no you can't eat or drink for 10 hours but can you brush your teeth in the morning before you leave for your blood test?

    Please help!!!

Thank youCan you brush your teeth before a blood test for pregnancy - HELP PLEASE?
Yes, you can brush your teeth.

Your doctor want to check your blood sugar levels. They might have told you that they will give you a sweet drink to you a 30 minutes before they draw the blood. Can you brush your teeth before a blood test for pregnancy - HELP PLEASE?
Yes, and you SHOULD eat and drink. Where in teh world did you hear that you can't? And yes, absolutely brush your teeth.
hi! i don't know why you can't eat or drink for blood work for pregnancy,i don't know where you heard this, unless thats what your DR said,i never had to go trough that with my pregnancies, for blood work,(fasting)is what you would call it when you can't eat or dreak befor tests, yes you are allowed to use water for your teeth, and you are still allowed to drink abit has well, good luck

    miracle
of course, just don't drink any water, spit it out

the hematologist will appreciate nice breath
Yes, you can brush your teeth, but no, try not to drink too much water. If you drink a lot your blood will be more dilute, and it's easier to pick up the pregnancy hormone when your blood is more concentrated.
Yes of course you can. It's also a good idea to drink water to keep yourself hydrated. Makes for an easier blood draw.
Yes getting a blood test has nothing to do with a pregnecy test.
Why not? and why would you not drink water, I always find I let blood so much easier when I am hydrated, I never heard of not being aloud for a regular blood test.
    Yes, of course
    YES OF COURSE!!!!!!!
Yes that's fine. Just don't swallow any water.
    yes, you can.
    Of course you can. =D
yeah why wouldnt you be able to?? and iv have never heard of not being able to eat or drink anything before a blood test....
I JUST had my blood test ran last week and you should not eat before you go IF you are doing the glucose test... They told me to fast from midnight the night before and they said I could brush my teeth with no toothpaste. :)
I've never heard of a fasting bllod draw to determine pregnancy. Eat and drink as you normally would, it won't change the results. And yes, please brush your teeth!
    you can brush your teeth.

When you brush your teeth, you're supposed to spit out the toothpaste, so the only thing going to your stomach is a little water.

When they tell you to not eat or drink for 10 hours before any blood test, this doesn't mean absolutely no water... it means, no orange juice, apple juice, coffee, tea, etc. You can call your doctor or the lab, but I don't think that water is restricted before blood tests. as far as I'm aware, only food type drinks are restricted, and water is not a food.

And you're not eating the toothpaste... you're brushing with it and spitting it out. about all you'll drink is a few sips of water which won't harm a blood test.

    baby shampoo

You can use a gentle face wash to clean them, you don't need anything special. The directions are in the link

    Hope i helped :]
The best and cheapest by far is baby shampoo. Just like ones head there is oil on your face that is picked up onto your brushes. Wash them as much as it takes until the water runs clear. Let them dry completely. Good to go. This is an old Hollywood make up ladies trick
    Soap and water,and rinsing well.
I use Johnson and Johnson Baby Shampoo or even just a glycerin soap, like the ones from Bath and Body works. I think any soap or shampoo would work fine.
i just use baby shampoo, sometimes regular shampoo too.

cause I mean its hair, shouldnt you just wash it with shampoo?

You might as well check a local, independent art supply store.. if you still have the brush, bring it in there and see what's similar. Or just ask the owner/employee and describe it to them.

Local is always better than Blick or some other chain :)

Is it ok to vacuum my computer keyboard with the soft brush attachment set on LOW suction?

A computer salesman told me this is the best way to clean it followed by a computer cleaning wipe. %26lt;i have been unable to locate a can of compressed air to blow out the dust%26gt;Is it ok to vacuum my computer keyboard with the soft brush attachment set on LOW suction?
Sure, most vacuum cleaners won't damage a keyboard if you use them properly and your keyboard isn't crap.Is it ok to vacuum my computer keyboard with the soft brush attachment set on LOW suction?
I use the vacuum cleaner on high suction - it would take a lot more suck than that to pull the keys off your keyboard.

DON'T use compressed air - all that does is to blow the gunge deeper into the keyboard, where it can cause ';dead keys'; by preventing electrical contact.
    of course
    yes
    yes
theres only one way to find out
I vacuum my laptop weekly and have on occasion sucked up a key. I just have to open up my Dyson vacuum and get it back.

    Go for it!
i usually have a box of kleenex handy
Sure you can. I bought 3M Dust Remover from Wal-Mart last week.
i do it every week, and i put my vacuum on high power suction and never lost a key yet.
yea its completely fine, it works for me all the time
yes, and you can find canned air at the store.
Yes it's fine to do this - it's what i do. I bought a can of compressed air once and when i sprayed it onto the pc, wattery stuff came out and almost ruined my Pc. Just keep vacuming it as that will suck up dust etc rather than blowing it somewhere else.
That is the way I clean my keyboard and sometimes the air vents on my computer. It has never caused any harm.
I got a good cleaner from a cheapo odds an sods shop.拢2.50.
No problem put it on full suction, if you loose a key then a new key pad and probably a lot better than what you have got and the cost is less than 拢 20. Compressed air in a canister is available from some of the Plumb Centres ( Plumbers merchants) We use it to clean some of the more complicated central heating boilers. Look at some of the computer fairs if you have them near you. Many good both hardware and software deals available along with consumables.
yep its fine, i do it all the time. Maybe thats where my L key has gone :) (only joking) L is still sitting there next to K
    yes.
As long as you aren't logged on to any thing vitaly important, yep, best way.

If your looking for cans of compressed air, I reckon you want to look at RS ( Radio Spares ) depending where you come from.

I used to work in a place that provided them in bulk.
yes its fine i do it often no dead skin on my keyboard yuck
yes, but only on low suction, else you might lose some of your p's and q's... its better to dust and remain polite?
yeah thatd be fine wouldnt cause any damage
Yeah if you want all the innards of the keyboard to end up in the vac bag then go ahead (sounds like a good wheeze pal).

How often should I brush my 'future' dog's teeth?

It really depends on your dog breed. For example, some smaller breeds (pugs, bichons) have a tendancy to get pretty icky teeth pretty quickly. Once your dog's teeth get build up on hem it can be pretty difficult to reverse the damage - tThe liver, kidneys, heart and, less commonly, the lungs can, over time, be affected by the persistent invasion of toxins and bacteria into the bloodstream. Once this happens, dost have to be anaestacized in order to clean their teeth. Our vet recommends that we brush our dogs teeth at least every 2nd day (every day is preferred) and he gets a dental chew several times a week.

Good luck! How often should I brush my 'future' dog's teeth?
Every other day and no using human toothpaste because of some of the chemicals. How often should I brush my 'future' dog's teeth?
Once a week for me. Rawhide bones also help a dogs teeth.
You don't have to brush a dogs teeth everyday. In all honesty, buying a chew toy that has raised bumps on it (a Nyla bone, for example) is good for helping to clean a dogs teeth. I never brush my dogs teeth but he has his cleaned by my vet once a year and she said he has great teeth. If you feel that you must brush their teeth, I would suggest once a week.
everyday. it wont like it though, just like with baths

Acrylic Painting - Which brush should I use?

I love to paint, and I am a beginner kinda, but lately its been frustrating because I can't seem to make detailed stuff. I really think it's because of the brushes I have.

Can someone tell me what kind of brush I should be using for making detailed stuff. Also blending colors into a small spot is extremely hard to me, any tips?

Like stuff like Frida Kahlo, I don't even understand how she does that stuff...I know she uses oil paint, but is that a big facotor?Acrylic Painting - Which brush should I use?
All of the replies so far have been interesting in their own way but none have actually answered your sincere question completely.

For really fine, detailed work in acrylics I suggest you buy and use these brush sizes: 3/0, 2/0, 1/0 and even 0/0. You can paint the finest eyelash on a portrait with an 0/0 or an 1/0 size brush.

And buy natural hair brushes for your fine, detailed work. The reason being that natural hair brushes retain more of the paint and hold their point better. Think about how much water your hair retains as you step out of a shower and how much effort you have to put into drying your hair. Natural hair simply retains better. To save money I use synthetic brushes on the larger areas where I don't have to worry about details.

You actually don't have to dilute down acrylics when using fine point brushes. The better quality lines of acrylic paint makers, like Golden (which is the best), Liquitex and M. Graham all sell both solid, full body paint and liquid paint. The liquid paint they sell is just as durable, just as permanent, as any solid paint and yet just as fluid as watercolor.

As to blending, there are several ways to go. I prefer pre-blending most of my colors on my pallet and then applying the desired shades to the canvas. If you want to blend into what you're doing directly on the canvas this is easy enough to do with a little practice and learning a few little artist tricks: like keeping a second brush nearly, sitting in a cup of water, to use to keep your work area slightly wet. Keeping it slightly wet (damp) prolongs the drying time and allows you more time to work in your desired blends. It will take practice to get this technic down so I suggest you practice on a disposable area a little first.

You can also blend, and slow down the drying process, with liquid glazes. Both Golden and Liquitex sell high quality liquid acrylic glazes. But again, it will take a little practice to learn to use the glazes for the right effect.Acrylic Painting - Which brush should I use?
I paint very detailed and worked in acrylics for years (...started out by studying with with quite a few acrylic painters.) You can achieve great results in oils or acrylics - a lot of tightly detailed artists use acrylics.

In general, synthetic brushes will give a softer look and sable brushes will be harsher. Everyone has their favorites... It's best to have a mix of both. Get high quality brushes - it really does make a difference in your work. I like using rounds, but I have a selection of other types as well...just my preference... All you really need for painting in detail is a fine point, the body of the brush holds the paint and keeps it moist. (Very tiny brushes tend to dry out faster.)

For blending, use thin layers (glazes) and build up, letting each one completely dry before the next one. I never liked the results of using mediums - just diluting with plain water.

Hope this helps - happy painting.

    Best,

    Rebecca

    http://www.lathamstudios.com
For highly detailed work, use a small brush.

For blending colours, I assume you mean mixing colours? Use a flat palette and maybe try mixing the paint with a palette knife.

The major difference between acrylic and oils are - oils retain their very bright, vibrant colours and the consitancy is similar to butter. When acrylics dry the colours go a bit duller and loose some of its brilliance. They are also slightly runnier than oils.
I like synthetic brushes. And I don't like to mix color in a small pot, but rather on a flat glass or plastic surface. Try that, and then if you're happy with the color, you could use a painting knife to stuff it in a small pot. I don't know the artist you mention, but I know good brushes, and a variety of them (round, flat, fan, etc) can make a world or difference. Good luck!
Oil paint is actually a big step up from acrylics.

I have used acrylics and oil paint

and I notice a HUGE difference

oil is just a much higher quality.

I think you should find brushes that are square tipped, and fine tipped, all kinds of tips!

Then that way you can experiment with all the different brushes!
no..acrylic works as fine as oil..it depends on how you dilute it..yes, brushes definitely play a factor...and also the style of holding brushes and the pressure that you apply on them..try to get smaller brushes with thin end..they work great for details..and the blending, u have to use smaller brush and work in circles to blend the colour in..use a small amount of water when working on blending..hope this helps..happy painting!
I'm a fan of synthetic brushes. The more kinds of brushes you have the better, I generally use flat tipped ones more often than not.

And if you are going for detail, use smaller brushes. Pick up a fan brush if that's the affect you want. Just shop around.

  • How do you brush a cat's teeth?

Hi there...here's an instructional video by Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine of Feline Health on how to brush a cat's teeth: http://www.felinevideos.vet.cornell.edu/鈥?/a>How do you brush a cat's teeth?
well you can actually brush their teeth (they make stuff for that) or you can buy those foods made to help with teeth and breath try greenies they work good and animals love the taste! How do you brush a cat's teeth?
You can buy a little toothbrush that fits over your finger at the pet supply store along with meat flavored toothpaste. Brush just like you would your own teeth. If you take care of your pet's teeth at home, they'll only need the vet to do a cleaning once a year. Oral health is so important in animals, especially if your pet eats soft food and doesn't chew bones.
toothpast may not be good for kitty, feed the cat a premium kibble cat food, that aids in keeping teeth and gums healthy...have your vet check the cats mouth regularly to see if a cleaning is in order.

about the only thing i give my cat that people can have too is liver, bacon, and sardines...oh and she loves spam, but those are rare treats
people say use an angle brush but i say use a small little kid brush and buy pet toothpaste and trust me its not going to be easy to get it in there mouth
just like how you brush yours
Ask your vets assistant or the vet for the proper procedure then proceed with extreme caution!
u dont the vet does otherwise u can poisin the cat not good
This question is easy because I brush a dogs teeth. You can go to a store and buy a special brush or if you are not that kind you can use a regular human tooth brush. You just do it like you brush your teeth. Do the top all the way to the back and the same to the bottom teeth. Cats are not that hard so give it your best shot. Or take your cat to a grooming shop. Then you will get the whole works with the brush.Good luck with cat teeth. You don't have to use tooth paste. If you want to get some that is from a vet or at a pet store only.
Get kitty toothpaste at the pet store (it's safe for them to swallow--DON'T use human toothpaste). The easiest thing to use to brush is one of the finger brushes (it fits over your finger tip so you can just gently rub your finger over their teeth. Pet toothpaste is enzymatic and doesn't require harsh brushing like our toothpaste, so be gentle.
I have tried to brush my cats teeth before. It is really hard because they don't hold still. So, I just wouldn't brush its teeth.
I brush my cat's teeth everyday. And it is a chore coz unlike a few cats, my cats don't like it. They have a special pet toothpaste (enzyme based) that I get from the vet and a little cat toothbrush. Its next to impossible to brush the cat's teeth like the way you brush your own. What I do is I make my cat sit lie down on the bathroom floor. I hold the face down either by grabbing the scruff of the neck or simply holding the cheek down. With my other hand, I gently open the side of the moth and insert the toothbrush to brush the sides of the molars and pre-molars and then the the incisors. I turn kitty about and do the same on the other side of the mouth. The procedure must be very brief. With the 1 yr old, I simply hold him on my lap. Grap the scruff of his neck and insert toothbrush gently atthe side of his mouth. Then I brush very quickly. Really depends how you can mamage your cat... in time, they get used to it although they never really love the process. But its important becuase I feed them mostly wet food.

I find that it can be very hard to remove the product out of the brush there is always residue left. How often should I clean my foundation brush? ?
you should clean them every other day and deep clean them every week.

I don't use foundation much, but when I do, I wash it immediately after I apply it. I don't want to take my chances and break outHow often should I clean my foundation brush? ?
You're supposed to wash your foundation brush after every single use because it gets moist and can harbor bacteria. I wash all of my brushes in baby shampoo and let them air dry overnight. You can get all the product out if you swish the brush is warm, soapy water and rinse thoroughly. You might have to repeat this several times. Just make sure you are very gentle. It's a good idea to have a second foundation brush so you always have a clean one ready while the other one is drying out.
I clean my brushes monthly with hot soapy water and vinegar in a coffee sized cup. The vinegar has natural anti-bacterial properties in it. I use a dye and fragrance free liquid soap from seventh generation. Thuis is a very natural cleanser so it will not irritate your skin.

I allow my brushes to soak in the steaming hot solution for 10 min and then I rinse thouroughly. Allow to dry completely before use. There's no science in how to mix up the solution just like one drop of soap, enough to make some suds and equal parts water and vinegar. Lots of luck! :)
You should deep clean your brushes every week or every other week. All you need is a mild soap or a baby shampoo. All you do is wet it and apply your soap or shampoo on the brush. Then rub the brush up and down a couple of times to work the soap through. Then rinse until the water turns clear again. You might have to repeat one more time. Lay flat on a towel and let dry over night.
I would suggest once a week or once every 2 weeks!

Brushes like sponges carry bacteria and germs in addition to cleaning them I would suggest switching to a new brush every month as well. Because this is used on your face with open pores it's a great idea to keep the brush as fresh as possible to avoid and limit breakouts!
once a week or you can get bacterica on it or get infections etc

get baby shampoo and gently wash it with that and thenleave it in water for a while and then it dry overnight!

also bourjois has a new foundation with a brush built in so you know!! xx
It depends how often you use it. If you use it everyday you should be cleaning it out around once a week, once a month at max.

Here's a youtube vid that shows how to properly cleanse your brushes without damaging them or making the hairs fall out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0THVu8jNW鈥?/a>
    every time you use it.

you can use soap and water, (warm water)

yeah, I hate it when it dosn't clean completly, i find seperating the bristles and really cleaning it thoroughly works.

  • How many times do you brush in a day and why that many time do you brush? Be specific............ ?

PRACTICALLY, after breakfast and before bedtime will suffice, two minutes each timeHow many times do you brush in a day and why that many time do you brush? Be specific............ ?
I brush and floss 4 times a day, once in the morning, after lunch, after dinner and i brush with flouride prevident before bed. I'm 29 and i learned my lesson about brushing and flossing properly because I now have an entire mouthful of fillings I need to take care of! I also now have an active retainer appliance to straighten my top teeth, so I have to take it out to eat, brush and floss anyway! How many times do you brush in a day and why that many time do you brush? Be specific............ ?
twice with antifluoridal toothpaste. only twice because its habit when i wake up to get rid of morning breathe and at night to just clean them. the reason to not use fluoride is because it east away tooth enamel. my sis brushed her teeth 5 times a day with fluoride toothpaste, has 8 fillings. i only brush mine twice, sometimes once cuz i forget without fluoride, no cavities and prefectly healthy teeth.
Based on my experience as a dental assistant, its recommended to thoroughly brush and floss at least twice a day. I use to work in a periodontal office, and with hygienists (where they do gum surgery's and stuff). Too often people brush, but don't floss. Flossing is even more important than brushing in a sense. It doesn't matter what order it is done in. I have met patients that brushed 2 or 3 times a day, but did not floss and even with the brushing alone they still developed gum disease and needed perio surgery.

when brushing, always use toothpaste that has fluoride in it! use a soft or medium bristle tooth brush. don't brush real hard either, its known to cause the gums to receed. when flossing, always use a new piece of floss to go between each tooth,(be careful not to force the floss between tight spaces, you could cut your gums) waxed floss is recommended.

electronic toothbrushes preferably (sonicare) are alot better than manual hand brushing but, if you don't have an electronic toothbrush, its ok.

I would like to add that brushing after everything you eat is best. If thats not possible, chew gum (trident, or any other gum thats sugar free) or rinse out ur mouth with water or mouthrinse. the reason being is right after u eat, fermentable carbohydrates mixed with plaque and saliva create ';acid'; which starts eating through the enamel of the teeth (decay).
Brush in the morning when I wake up because I love the smooth feeling behind my teeth, not the crappy plaque feeling. At night before I go to bed because I don't like morning breath. And I swish with Listerine Smartrinse haha after everytime.
i brush my teath twice a day because one after breakfest and one after dinner. I brush my teah after the two main meals of the day to get all the junk off my teath and my tounge.
I brush my teeth after everything I eat, and I mean EVERYTHING.

%26amp; why? because I like to keep my teeth clean.
twice...in the morning and when i go to bed

morning: get rid of morninng breath-it feels good too

before bed: clean them, no plaque bild up from dinner
twice at least, 3 the most- why? Because I'm going to school for dental hygiene and I love to take care of my teeth!

How do I repaint furniture without leaving brush marks?

Use a good (!very! expensive) paint and brush, gentle strokes, temperature and humidity should be just right, read the paint label for details. How do I repaint furniture without leaving brush marks?
It depends on the type of paint you want to use. Regular ';wall'; type paint is never going to look good on furniture, sorry.

You could spray it, that is one way.

Or use a high gloss paint, the surface of which tends to level itself out and brush marks disappear. However painting with this sort of paint takes a bit of practice to get it to look reall nice. Most people overload the brush and this causes ';runs';. You can get ';outdoor'; weatherproof versions of this paint. BUt it looks reallty nice when done right and is especially good for outdoor work. Do not forget to sand off the gloss finish between coats. You of course do not sand the final coat.

Most varnish and lacquer finishes behave this way, or you can spray them.

This is mostly for wood furniture.

Metal and plastic can be painted with this sort of paint. You have to sand it first and use a primer also before the gloss. How do I repaint furniture without leaving brush marks?
what type of furniture/ wood or metal.

    If metal spray paint

If wood use oil base paint, a very good brush and sand with at least 220 grit

What should i use to brush a wig instead of a wig brush?

It is syntheticWhat should i use to brush a wig instead of a wig brush?
    A wide toothed comb.

    This way it won't snag

Brush it very gently and have patience

And don't use your fingers, because the grease in them can dilute the wig and the oils will pull it's gentle fibers.

Hope this helps! What should i use to brush a wig instead of a wig brush?
I have a synthetic wig, my stylist says the best tool is your fingers, but if you must you can use a comb. Try not to comb the wig while it's wet. You can also use a pick to fluff it. One thing that I did wrong was trying to use a curling iron on my wig. What a big mistake! even though it was on low it still damaged my first wig.

    I hope this helps

how do you curl your hair and give it pretty curls with just a brush and a hair dryer? How to curl your hair with a brush and a hair dryer?
mmmmm.......well get the brush and roll around a piece of hair and put the blow dryer on your hair?

???????How to curl your hair with a brush and a hair dryer?
use a small round brush and do your hair in 1'; sections all over holding hairdryer about 2'; away from each rolled up section on the brush, however if you are going to do this you would be best to use rollers as you will obtain better results
A round barrel brush is best,

you get a section of your hair and turn the hairdryer to high heat and put the dryer 1-2 inches away from the hair in the brush. Note: this won't get you big bouncy curls like curling with an iron will, just suddle waves.
you will need a round brush.

first all start off with wet hair and if you have a curl product, put it in. then curl sections of the hair one at a time with the brush and hold the dryer until your hair is dry. flip your hair upside down for extra poof.

What is the reason that we must brush our teeth every day?

Now How Many times per day that yourself Brushes your own teeth

as to keep them clean also healthy ?

this is asked by the American Dental Association and the general

Health Care ?What is the reason that we must brush our teeth every day?
Because otherwise bacteria have a field day in your filthy mouth. They eat away your teeth, your gums, and if things get bad enough, the infection can spread to your blood and you can get septic.

Brush at least twice a day. Floss if you're smart. What is the reason that we must brush our teeth every day?
TO prevent many different problems..such as cavities and gum disease. Gum disease by the way, can lead to loss of teeth. You should brush in the morning and at night, and also floss. Flossing removes bacteria between teeth and under the gum line where the toothbrush is unable to.Brushing everyday is also essential in order to remove plaque and tartar buildup which can cause bacteria to enter the gums.
well i read something that said the stuf in the toothpaste is no good for our teeth at all anyways so ... my gran is 91 and still has her own teeth and she always used ashes from the fire and that must work and how they say to soft bristle well she begs to diefr she used hay as a toothbrush so take that u dental people....

and as for me i brush my teeth like 3 tiems a day to make sure they're clean b.c i wanna still have mine when im 91 years old if i live that long..

    WEll hope i helped
Well for starters do you want to be FUGLY?

If not clean your teeth at least after every meal myself i clean minimum of 4 times a day

    xxx123 toddler
you'll get cavities and you'll have to have your teeth pulled and you'll have a bunch of problems later
If you don't, you will have problems with you teeth later.
So our breath doesn't smell and we dont get gum disease that can lead to other diseases.

It's much cheaper to just use a sponge applicator that you can buy @ walmart to apply liquid foundation. Bare minerals Kabuki brush is only good for mineral/powder foundation not liquid... :)

I use Bobby Brown foundation and the brush to apply it but it leaves brush marks?

How do I avoid this?I use Bobby Brown foundation and the brush to apply it but it leaves brush marks?
Try using a sponge or gently smoothing it with your finger once applying it evenly with the brush xI use Bobby Brown foundation and the brush to apply it but it leaves brush marks?
I use a foundation brush and mine does the same thing. I apply it as evenly as I can, then take a makeup sponge and blend any parts that need blending. Also if you wear powder after you foundation, move the powder brush in little circles over your skin and it blends everything together. Hope that helps! x
Mine does the same, but I just go over the area a few times, without dipping back into the makeup, and it smoothes out on its own. Also, make sure you are using moisturizer under this makeup, that dramatically helps with the lines.

How do i brush my dog's teeth?

    I don't have doggie toothpaste...What should i use?How do i brush my dog's teeth?
you don'.t Use a doggie chew toy that's made for brushing dogs' teeth. How do i brush my dog's teeth?
There are all kinds of tooth brushes for dogs but a regular wash cloth will work just as well. And its going to be difficult at first, but just don't give up. Your dog will eventually get used to this, hopefully, like any other grooming routine.
Do not use human tooth paste. Buy dog's tooth paste, or just plain water.
Dogs don't need their teeth brushed as long as they have chew toys. Look for chew toys that aid in removing plaque from dog's teeth. Depending on the size of the dog, I've found that for my PitBull a tug rope works the best because when he chews on it it gets in between his teeth and rubs on them too.
try this, everyday touch your dogs teeth and gums with your finger for a week get your dog used to the feeling of having something rub its teeth and gums then after the week replace your finger with a soft brisle toothbrush and use meat flavored dog toothpastle (never give ur dog human toothpastle its not good for them). you should brush your dogs teeth everyday once a day and start when its a puppy.
there's a doggie toothbrush and doggie toothpaste that is sold in some local grocery stores.also you can find it in petstores.and if you don't know how to brush them, then go to your local petstore and ask one of the groomers or sales people there.

Healing brush in Photoshop leaves a darker trail?

Sometimes the spot I just healed acctualy gets darker even though the source isn't. What am I doing wrong?Healing brush in Photoshop leaves a darker trail?
Healing Brush uses a algorythm of everything around the imperfection, to 'meld' the spot you're trying to fix. It will pick up pixels from a spot 10 to 20 pixels away, just depends on the settings for the brush,(also another factor which I'll explain below).

One 'trick' is to make the Healing Brush circle,(brush), smaller so that it doesn't pick up unwanted outside sources. Boy, that's kinda' hard to explain, 'Outside Sources'. Click on the triangle shaped down arrow to the immediate right of Brush, number size of brush,(for example 7), and the brush shape,(sort of an example: Brush 7 o), in the top header. This brings a drop-down menu that shows the Diameter, Hardness, and Spacing. Diameter is purely experimental, but I use a brush diameter that just surrounds the imperfection. This is with the Aligned box checked,(upper header to the right). You can experiment with having the Aligned box unchecked. I usually use 50% Hardness. This is like using a Soft Brush in Brush Tool at 100%. I keep the Spacing at around 5-7%. This means Healing Brush will 'sample' 5%,(for example), of the area's pixel's around it.

You will find that sometimes, no matter how you set the brush's setting's, or how careful you are, it will pick up unwanted colors. The darker you're probably picking up is the dark line around a figure, or it's shadow, that's pretty near the imperfection. It's a complicated formula this tool uses, and I don't see how Adobe could change it. Once you're used to using it, you work around it's 'imperfections'. We,(those who use Photoshop), just fill in with the Clone Stamp Tool,(when the Healing Brush just can't fix it all), using the Opacity setting, Aligned, or not Aligned,(should explain if you're not familiar with this setting. When you use Healing Brush, or Clone Stamp Tool, and the Aligned feature, you'll see the area you chose to copy from's 'spot', move up along with where you're using the H.Brush, or C.S.Tool. It goes up/down/over, etc. right along with it. uncheck the box, this stops. But, use care as your 'copy' source won't match as you move away from it.) I wouldn't fool with the Flow setting in Clone Stamp just yet, but hey, you go! Does this all sound like gibberish? Hope not! As you go along with some of these tips, I hope it'll start to make sense,(kinda' hard to follow what I'm printing, huh?)

Give her something as a treat that is very high value - like pieces of chicken, pepperoni, hot dog %26lt;--- these are safe treats for dogs. Trying brushing her for one to two strokes, then say ';GOOD GIRL!'; and immediately give her a little piece of the treat. Continue to do this. The more she behaves, the more small bits of treat she gets. She will soon associate the brushing routine as a good thing.

Yes it is large and wide like the above said, but it is not like a blush brush - the bristles are very smooth and silky and come together at the tip. Hope that helps.
the brush part is about 1/2 in length with alot of tight thick hairs, usually tan colored not black, it's something you can use instead of a sponge, but the downside to the brush is, you have to wash it very ( almost after every use) frequently because it holds bacteria....why i perfer the sponge because you use it once and toss it!
Foundation brushes are usually flat wide brushes with high quality soft natural bristles for blending foundation.

xxxWhat materials do i need to brush my puppy's teeth?
Yes you need a special tooth paste. DO NOT USE HUMAN TOOTHPASTE!

Dogs do not have the ability to 'spit' and Human toothpaste is harmful to them. That is why there are special toothpastes if they are necessary.

I use a product called ';Pet Kiss'; as an additive to my Dog's water, and i give them lots of bones to chew on, this ensures they have healthy teeth and i don't have to brush their teeth.

Chewing is the best thing for your pup.
Buy toothpaste formulated for dogs. It鈥檚 flavored so dogs love it. Start with a little bit of toothpaste on your finger and let your puppy taste it. Then put your finger under his upper lip and rub the toothpaste on his teeth. when done, be sure to reward your pup. you can then buy an infant鈥檚 toothbrush or a toothbrush designed for dogs and begin brushing. they also have dog formulated mouthwash if necessary lol.
I'm pretty sure you can use a regular tooth brush.. but you cannot use regular toothpaste.

    you NEED dog toothpaste.
companies make special tooth brushes and toothpaste for dogs. you can buy them at any pet store like Petco and Petsmart.
They sell puppy toothpaste kit at target.

Am I not allowed to brush my teeth after my wisdom teeth surgery?

I got them out this morning. am I not allowed to brush them till tomorrow?Am I not allowed to brush my teeth after my wisdom teeth surgery?
That is because they cut your gums open. So sometimes the actual toothpaste can be an irritant. But one of the main reasons, is because they put in stitches. The tooth brush bristles can irritate the tissue. Which can make them start to bleed again. The tooth brush bristles can also get stuck on one of the stitches, and pull it out. The gum tissue heals pretty fast, but you want to give it at least 24 hours to grow back together. So basiclly they dont want to bother the tissue or the stiches to let it start to properly heal. DONT LISTEN TO THE FIRST PERSON. DO NOT BRUSH. We say this stuff for a reason.Am I not allowed to brush my teeth after my wisdom teeth surgery?
You can still brush them, just be really gentle toward the back of your mouth.
your best advice is to call your dentist an ask him. I got a tooth pulled yesterday and he told me to rinse my mouth with salt water 3 times a day but only brush the other teeth and rinse well. ask your dentist

When does she get crazy? When you first start to brush? When you sit down with her to brush her? When you get the brush? When you walk to get the brush? When ever it is, take one step back and praise her for being calm.

For example, you sit down with her to brush her she starts getting upset. Then you are going to take once step back from that. You are going to take out the brush walk up to your dog and give her a treat. Do that several times throughout the day. Just take out the brush, walk up to your dog and give her a treat.

When she is happy with that. Take out the bursh and sit down with her, give her a treat and put the brush away. If she gets upset at any step, take a step back and treat her when she is calm.

Keep doing this one step at a time until you can sit down with her and the brush and brush her. It will take a while.

and before anyone suggestions it. don't use a shock collar.I need help! What can I do so my miniature schanuzer doesn't go crazy every time she sees the brush?
my dogs don't like being groomed either. the best advice I can offer is to make the sessions ';short and sweet';, with lots of praise and treats for when she behaves properly. how does she do with the groomer?

biting you is a serious issue, and that may need professional help to solve.
put a piece of meat on it..like with a rubber band..lol

  • Is it gross to not brush your teeth every day?

i don't, i brush my teeth like, once a week...Is it gross to not brush your teeth every day?
ew, i can smell your breath all the way from here!!! NASTY!Is it gross to not brush your teeth every day?
I have to agree with every answer you have received.

    Yellow teeth, bad breath.

Kissing you would out of the question.

Plus you can smell the bad breath a foot away.

I went to school with a fellow that did not

    believe in brushing his teeth...

He was hard to be around and eventually

    lost all his teeth.

Also think about George Harrison's Song

';Savoy Truffle'; that he wrote of / for Eric Clapton.
Some day - you don't know when and I don't know when - you will develop plaque, gum disease, cavities, and terrible bad breath AND THEN - to correct all of this will cost $$$ - lots of $$$ and be painful - - - AND I know some lazy people but, I don't know anyone lazy enough to brush only once a week.

I brush my teeth 4 times a day and my dogs teeth 4 times a week.
if u dont brush your teeth every day u can get cavities and your dental hygiene. the dentist always tells us to brush our teeth every day because they want to see u with white teeth and no bad breathe. u never know if u dont brush your teeth all your teeth falls out of your mouth. not to sound gross, but it can happen and all your teeth can be all yellow and it can also ruin your gums because they arent being clean either. your teeth might also turn black after not brushing yout teeth every day for a long time or not even at all. thats just plain gross if u were talking to someone and they told u your breath stinks and u have yellow teeth. hope i helped and please brush your teeth before u get those.
Yes... I find that disgusting! Don't bother looking for a boyfriend/girlfriend... they won't wanna kiss you with that mouth! It is important to brush your teeth at least once a day. If you continue brushing your teeth once a week, the result will not be good. Your teeth will literally rot and decay. Please brush regularly.

Also, didn't your mother encourage you to brush your teeth?
    DUHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!鈥?

YOU ARE NASTY YOU WILL NEVER EVER EVER EVER BE KISSED AS LONG AS YOU DO THAT

    YA NASTY!!!!!

THATS VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY GROSS!!!!
you are a disguisting boy/girl, i agree with all of these answers, you wont have any friends and in answer to your question, YES you FOOL.
I think it is. For one thing I don't like having cavities filled, and #2 I don't like having a sticky mouth feeling
Thats really not healthy, you should be brushing atleast twice A DAY.

You will probably develop bad breath and dental problems.
Once a week? You should AT LEAST brush twice a day, if not more.

    Or after every meal.
yeah who would want to kiss you your mouth would smell pretty funcky.

Whats the best time to brush your teeth?

im lazy and only brush my teeth once a day, and i was wondering if its better to brush in the morning, at night, or if it doesn't matter?Whats the best time to brush your teeth?
Well you should do morning %26amp; night but if you have to pick one i would pick morning because then you can get rid of the morning breath.Whats the best time to brush your teeth?
It supposed to be like after you eat breakfast and dinner.

So one in the morning and one at night.
@ night so when u wake up u don't have that bad morning breath ewwww
    Morning and night.
It is best to brush at exactly 4:20 AM
Morning and Night and after you eat.
    after meals
In the mornings and after you eat and at bed time.
    Sometime in the spring..
    * Your teeth are meant to last a lifetime! Tooth decay, or cavities, and periodontal disease, also known as gum disease, can be avoided or reduced by the daily removal of plaque.

    * Plaque is made up of germs that live on your teeth all the time. It is important to remove this plaque daily to prevent these germs from making acid and other products that can cause cavities and harm your gums and the bone around your teeth.

    * If you spend less than three minutes brushing your teeth, all the plaque is probably not being removed. Also, a toothbrush with worn-out bristles cannot clean your teeth properly. Try to replace your toothbrush at least every three to four months.

    * A dental home care plan should include —

o - daily toothbrushing with a soft toothbrush that is not worn out or frayed

o using dental floss daily to clean areas that are hard for your toothbrush to reach — between your teeth and under the gumline

o using a toothpaste or mouthrinse with fluoride

o eating balanced meals and limiting foods high in sugar

    * To brush away the plaque on your teeth, follow these steps:

o Start by brushing the sides of your teeth that touch your cheek. Angle your toothbrush so it is up against your teeth and gums and jiggle the toothbrush back and forth in small strokes. Do only a few teeth at a time, and do it several times in each spot.

o When you have completed the cheek side of your top and bottom teeth, brush the side that faces your tongue on the top and bottom teeth in the same way.

o Brush the flat, chewing surfaces of your top and bottom teeth. These surfaces have many deep grooves where germs can “hide out.” Brush your tongue when you finish brushing your teeth to help your mouth feel fresher. To maintain the health of your teeth and gums, clean in between your teeth with dental floss after toothbrushing.
Naturally, twice (or more) is better, but if you're only going to brush once, it's best to do it in the morning. Bacteria have a field day in there while you're sleeping, and you produce less saliva to wash it away naturally. Brushing in the morning reduces those bacteria.

Besides, who wants to work with someone with all-day morning breath? Yuck!
Brush your teeth along with flossing, and mouth wash in the morning, after you eat, and right before you go to bed. But another important aspect is to know where to brush your teeth. Do the front, the top, and the back of them. I used to only brush it once a day (if that) and then I started brushing more, and I really noticed a difference, and soon too!
Well I would say night for your teeth, but, morning for anyone who has to smell your breath...is it that hard to spend 2 minutes???...why not just get dentures, then you can clean them while you sleep.
You better brush at night and wash your mouth with LISTERINE in the morning. That's all you have to do everyday, easy, right? Remember, this is not a professional advice.
Guy, ur flippin nasty... 2-3 times a day, avery1 should be doin that, ur too lazy, it only takes a few minuts each time, for the love of Jehova...
    After a meal.
    After food ,especially sugary sweets.

Apart from that, brush as many times as you want,it will do more good than harm.Chew gum to produce saliva which will neutralize acid which causes tooth decay
morning and night is always good for you
Brush at least once every 12 hours. It doesn't matter what time that is, if you have an irregular routine. Otherwise brush when you wake up and before you go to bed. But brushing once a day clearly is not enough and you may get cavities because of that. Mouthwashes are used when your breath feels bad, between the brushing interval, like as soon as you wake up. Flossing should be done at least once a day. It is not required to brush after every meal -- thats unnecessary, but theres no harm in doing it. As long as you brush at least twice a day your teeth are safe from cavities. And most important, go to dentist every 6 months for a cleaning even if you have no dental problems. If chronically bad breath persists despite brushing at least twice a day and using mouthwash too, then you need to see a dentist.
In the morning, and also after each meal.
Since you said only once a day, I would say brush in the Morning.

Sure brushing at night does more to prevent cavities from forming while you sleep, but since you are only brushing once a day, i assume its not a huge deal what your over all oral health is.

So, for the benefit of all people you come in contact with in a day, brush in the morning so you have fresher breather and whiter teeth.

Also, if you want some plaque removal during the day, eat an apple, it usually helps. And normal cheddar block cheese helps fight bacteria in your mouth, so eat a piece if a lovely cheese platter happens to come buy your work area.
Thats nasty!!!!! You need to brush three times a day. Morning, Afternoon, Night.
