Why doesnt anyone use a kabuki brush to apply liquid foundation?

the mac 187 brush is 42 dollars and i just have a big bare minerals kabuki brush. :(Why doesnt anyone use a kabuki brush to apply liquid foundation?
Kabuki brushes are meant for powders?? thats what i use them for. blush and powder.

they are like any other stippling brush but cheaper.Why doesnt anyone use a kabuki brush to apply liquid foundation?
I have the mac brush. I like it a lot. The only reason I'd switch brands is because my eyeliner brush gets all caked and I wouldn't mind having a cheap replacement for that.
It's much cheaper to just use a sponge applicator that you can buy @ walmart to apply liquid foundation. Bare minerals Kabuki brush is only good for mineral/powder foundation not liquid... :)
I do!! I love it!! I think people shoudlnt follow rules with brushes they should just use what they feel comfortable with!!

Because it will not go on evenly. And just thinking about liquid foundation in any sort of brush grosses me out! Use a sponge applicator. Easy and cheap!
