use a small round brush and do your hair in 1'; sections all over holding hairdryer about 2'; away from each rolled up section on the brush, however if you are going to do this you would be best to use rollers as you will obtain better results

you get a section of your hair and turn the hairdryer to high heat and put the dryer 1-2 inches away from the hair in the brush. Note: this won't get you big bouncy curls like curling with an iron will, just suddle waves.
