Whats the best way to brush a dog?

I have a very small yorkie who HATES being brushed- we go through the same struggle everyday trying to brush her hair out. How can I make it better for her? Is there a better brush I should use?Whats the best way to brush a dog?
u could take her 2 a proffesional groomer, or u could buy the furminator. that's the brush that im using rite now... it REALLY works. i have a dog that sheds like a mother bear, and when i used the furminator, it got big hunks of hair as big as a bowling ball everytime we brushed her. it gets a lot of the hair out, and she really enjoys being brushed with it. so i hope i helped!Whats the best way to brush a dog?
Give her something as a treat that is very high value - like pieces of chicken, pepperoni, hot dog %26lt;--- these are safe treats for dogs. Trying brushing her for one to two strokes, then say ';GOOD GIRL!'; and immediately give her a little piece of the treat. Continue to do this. The more she behaves, the more small bits of treat she gets. She will soon associate the brushing routine as a good thing.

Good luck:)
Think I found something you might be interested in to help with the grooming. This specializes in grooming a yorkie.

Hope this helps!
ok. first, you have to buy a harness. next clip a leash in her harness. next, tie her leash to something strong and sturdy. next, take your everyday hairbrush and stroke her 150 times. she'll begin to like it and then love it. but make sure you buy a new brush for you.
yes. first, calm her down and have her lay down, try to brush her when she is tired, use a brush with the little plastic tips at the end of the bristles, and brush her gently
